Estepona - the California of Europe




There is so much to see and discover about this lovely place, really the opportunities are great.
We believe at Paez Real Estate that we are living in the most beautiful area of Spain.  With incredible unspoilt mountain walks and it is full of new ideas. 
This area of Costa Del Sol is definitely beginning to see more positive things coming to it.  There is a lot of renewal and new building and new businesses coming to the area. 

Estepona enjoys 340 days of sunshine a year.

There is more and more projects happening and it is a great place to bring up children.  The childrens areas in and around the town centre are safe and easily accessible.
Carrefour and Mercadona are our two major supermarkets between them it keeps a very varied international population happy.
Lidl and Aldi are here too. 
Estepona is literally only about 30 mins away from Gibraltar and at lot of ex-pats work in Gib and live in Estepona.  It is so convenitient - there is a major highway which runs the full length of the Costa del Sol along with the Toll Road which is newer less travelled on.  However it is very easy to go to Marbella and Fuengirola and Benalmadena and even round to Almeria in a few hours. 
Cadiz and Seville are not far away and neither is the border of Portugal. 
The view of Gibralta from Estepona are stunning as wells as great views of Africa.  Which is also easy to get to from Estepona.

Club Eden Estepona




I have met this man and he has done his best to share with people the need to help themselves with their growing of their own vegetables and getting a sustainable social base.  The way people live today with the through away society and not caring for the environment it makes a real nice change to find someone who is really interested in cultivating a way of doing things together and sharing experiences. 

Making it easy for people to develop their own garden plots and grow vegetables in a organic manners.

He has a lot of great ideas and I have enjoyed spending time speaking with him about what is important about the growing vegetables in a community of alotmenteers - I belong to one in the Uk,  and really enjoyed growing my own veg so it was a real nice surprise for me to find I could get hold of one so close to where I live and start again.  It give such a sense of accomplishment and joy to be sharing your produce and stories and skills with others.

I hope that one day you too will find the pleasure in growing your own veg and fruit together with your friends and neighbours.  Setting up something like this in your neighbourhood just give this guy a call he is really wanting to help.  You can find him working near Edens Bar just down from Edens Garden Centre in Estepona.
