Low Cost Car Rental Service

We all consider before we go on holiday whether it is worth our while hiring a car.  I have always enjoyed the option of being able to get about freely without being dependent on public transport.  In some countries the public transport service is excellent and in others not so hot.  However, when you want to see the sights in comfort and at your own speed then it is imperative to have your own transport.

I know alot of people dread to drive in foreign part, being unsure of the language and road signs is a struggle to some.  However, if you want to really enjoy your holiday to the full, it is worth learning a few key signs that you can expect to see - like leaving and changing lanes can be a bit of challenge if you are a UK Citizen getting to grips with the sign posts can be a real challenge.  Yet, I have really enjoyed my travelling around Andalucia in my car and would highly recommend driving and getting to see some of the wonderful hidden treasures inland as well as on the coastal areas.  Whatever country you choose to travel to, it is great to have adventures.

Have fun, enjoy your holiday - do not be put off by your lack of experience - I passed my test in my early 50's and did not do many long trips before driving down through Spain on my own.  I am glad I did.  I enjoy my trips to the Granada area and found that the road systems in Spain especially the highways are excellent.  However having a right hand driving vehicle I choose to travel on none toll roads as it can be a bit stressful to  keep  trying to reach the kiosk from the right hand side, I usually end up having to get out of the car and walking round to the kiosk - which causes delays - so my advice is if you are driving in Spain in a right hand car and you are unfamiliar with the system - go toll free.  I use my Satnav to get me to places I would never have thought possible for me. Now I have developed more confidence in my driving and wanting to travel around more and more.  So happy driving.

I hired a left hand drive car when I came down for a trip for househunting and I did not find it difficult to change.  When my car becomes too old I will buy  a left hand drive.  However my dear skoda is doing fine.

Happy Holidays to you all.
